North America Railway Hall of Fame 1999 Induction Awards August 19, 1999 |

| The inaugural Induction Ceremony for the North America Railway Hall of Fame took place on Thursday, August 19, at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Thomas Art Gallery. At the ceremony eight awards were given for Canadian and North American inductees. The categories for the inductees include Railway Workers/Builders, Technical Innovations, Rolling Stock, and Facility/Structures. The Induction Ceremony was part of the annual Iron Horse Festival held during August in St. Thomas. |
