Our Station

The Canada Southern Railway Station (CASO) has been a landmark in the St. Thomas community since 1873.

CASO was the divisional headquarters for many American railway companies until it was purchased in 1983.

In 1993, the On Track group was formed with a mission to revitalize the weakening St. Thomas community by providing a "railway theme" throughout the city. The purchase of the railway station was the first step towards revitalization of the downtown core and becoming a community tourist attraction, cultural and commercial centre.

In 2004, On Track began collaboration with the North America Railway Hall of Fame (NARHF). One year later, the ownership of the building was turned over to the Hall of Fame and the mortgage to CN was paid off.
