Iron Horse Festival of St. Thomas
We are a registered not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to promote and stage a community festival celebrating our community’s spirit and rich railway heritage. The 2008 Iron Horse Festival is scheduled for August 21-24.
St. Thomas Central Railway
In December of 1993, steam locomotive No. 9 arrived in over 500 pieces. Now restored and fully operational, you can take a ride on the No.9 steam engine, please visit our website for details.
Elgin County Railway Museum
We are located in the 1913 Michigan Central Railroad Locomotive Shops next to the Canada Southern Railway which was built in 1872. Registered as a not-for-profit charity for the purpose of preserving and restoring railway heritage of St.Thomas.
Port Stanley Terminal Railway
For over 20 years Port Stanley Terminal Rail has been operating tourist excursion trains from the historic (former London and Port Stanley) train station next to the King George lift bridge, at the harbour in Port Stanley. >> Also featured in our Hall of Fame Inductions Section...
